Removal Procedure

1. Remove four screws (2). Raise control plate (1) and the controls from the console.

Note: Put identification marks on all wires, on the cable assembly, and on the temperature control for installation purposes.

2. Remove seal (11) from control plate (12) .

3. Remove screws (5) and electrical wires (6) from temperature control (4) .

4. Loosen setscrew (9) and remove control knob (3) from the temperature control.

5. Remove the nut below control knob (3) in order to remove the temperature control from the control plate.

6. Loosen setscrew (10) and remove control knob (7) from cable assembly (8) .

7. Remove the nut below control knob (7) in order to remove the cable assembly from the control plate.

1. Place cable assembly (8) in position on control plate (12). Install the nut below control knob (7) that holds the cable assembly to the control plate.

2. Place control knob (7) on the cable assembly and tighten setscrew (10) .

3. Place temperature control (4) in position on the control plate. Install the nut below control knob (3) that holds the temperature control to the control plate.

4. Place control knob (3) on the temperature control and tighten setscrew (9) .

5. Position wires (6) on the temperature control and install screws (5) .

6. Install seal (11) to control plate (12) .

7. Put control plate (1) and the controls into position on the console. Install four screws (2) .
