Open the engine access door on the back side of the machine. Use the prop rod to hold the engine access door open.

The water separator is located on the right side of the engine compartment on the back side of the machine.

1. Loosen the drain valve on the bottom of the water separator. Allow the water and the sediment to drain into a suitable container.

2. Tighten the drain valve.

3. If the engine fails to start, change the fuel filter. If there is a power loss, change the fuel filter.

4. Close the engine access door.
