The options on the DDT for the Customer Specified Parameters (CSP) can be used for the adjustment of the Governor Setting, the Governor Droop Setting and the High Idle Setting.

Governor Selection Procedure

  1. Connect the DDT to the ESS. Display the screen number 32 on the DDT. "GOVERNOR" will be displayed on the top line of the DDT screen number 32 .

  1. Press "ALT1" in order to toggle between "ISOCHRONOUS" and "DROOP" modes.

  1. Press "ENTER" in order to program the ESS with the desired mode.

Governor Droop Setting Procedure

  1. Connect the DDT to the ESS. Display the screen number 31 on the DDT. "DROOP SETTING" will be displayed on the top line of the DDT screen number 31 .

  1. Press the "ALT1" key.

  1. Enter the desired percent of the governor droop.

  1. Press the "ENTER" key in order to program the ESS with the desired governor droop.

High Idle Setting Procedure

  1. Connect the DDT to the ESS. Display the screen number 30 on the DDT. "ENG HIGH IDLE" will be displayed on the top line of the DDT screen number 30 .

    Note: The initial setting of the high idle that will be displayed on the DDT screen number 30 will be equivalent to the upper rpm setting that is programmed into the Personality Module.

  1. Press the "ALT1" key.

  1. Enter the desired high idle speed in rpm.

  1. Press the "ENTER" key in order to program the ESS with the desired high idle speed.

Use the following procedure in order to adjust the fuel system linkage.

    (1) Lever. (2) Rod end. (3) Stop nuts. (4) Adapter. (5) Rod end. (6) Clevis. (7) Gas valve.

  1. Set the gas valve (7) to the closed position by pushing the stem into the valve.

  1. Rotate the actuator shaft until the actuator is in the 2 percent to 4 percent position.

  1. Assemble lever (1) at 40 degrees.

  1. Assemble the adapter (4) against the rod end (5) . Adjust the male rod end (2) to 103.7 ± 1.0 mm (4.08 ± .04 inch). Attach the lever to the male rod end and attach the clevis to the female rod end.

  1. Rotate clevis (6) until the actuator indicator is 2.0 ± 0.5 degrees from the closed position.

  1. Tighten the stop nuts (3) against the adapters.
