(1) Torque for 15 studs on the right hand side ... 102 ± 14 N·m (75 ± 10 lb ft)

(2) Lubricate all O-rings with the lubricant that is being sealed prior to assembly.

(4) Torque the bolts initially in an alternating star pattern to 300 ± 60 N·m (221 ± 44 lb ft). Torque the bolts in an alternating star pattern to 430 ± 60 N·m (317 ± 44 lb ft).

(5) 6G-8370 Shim Pack

Assembled thickness of shims ... 2.97 ± 0.08 mm (0.117 ± 0.003 inch)

Thickness of one shim out of nine shims ... 0.250 ± 0.013 mm (0.0098 ± 0.0005 inch)

Thickness of one shim out of nine shims ... 0.080 ± 0.013 mm (0.003 ± 0.0005 inch)

Inside diameter ... 108.0 mm (4.25 inch)

Outside diameter ... 158.0 mm (6.22 inch)

Note: The shim pack must be flat and free of dents and wrinkles.

(6) Torque for 12 bolts ... 280 ± 30 N·m (207 ± 22 lb ft)

Note: Use bolt pattern (3) that is shown above in order to tighten bolts (6) .

(7) Torque for two valve stems ... 8.5 ± 0.6 N·m (75.00 ± 5.00 lb in)
