Description of Change: The belt guard that is located at the front of the engine is secured by 4 bolts. In some cases, cracks have appeared around the mounting holes. The torque for these bolts has changed. The torque for these bolts has not been specified in any of the service information. The new torque lessens the chance of damage to the belt guard.

The 195-3664 Belt Guard that is located at the front of the engine is secured by two 105-3484 Bolts (Hex Socket Head) (1) and two 108-4282 Bolts (Socket Head) (2). The bolts should be tightened to a torque of 5 N·m (44 lb in). Apply 169-5464 Quick Cure Primer and 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound before you install the bolts.
