Note: During installation of the 5P-1420 Hose (1), allow enough hose so that the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler can pivot. Position the hose so that there is a continuous slope from the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler (B) to the coolant recovery group (C). Position the hose so no "J" traps are in the hose. Maximize the distance between the hose and the engine exhaust manifold. Maximize the distance between the hose and the flex pipe. Maximize the distance between the hose and the muffler.

(2) Torque for the six 8T-6466 Bolts ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)

(3) Place the five 4K-8864 Clips in the positions that are shown.

(4) Torque for the two 8T-4908 Bolts ... 15 ± 3 N·m (11 ± 2 lb ft)

(5) After assembly, ensure that the 142-9182 Hose can rotate inside the 142-8833 Spacer (G) when the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler is pivoting.

(6) Torque for the one 8T-4196 Bolt ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)

(1) Torque for the five 8T-6466 Bolts ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)

Note: When you are replacing the 5P-1420 Hose (2), allow enough hose so that the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler can pivot. Position the hose so that there is a continuous slope from the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler (C) to the coolant recovery group (D). Position the hose so no "J" traps are in the hose. Maximize the distance between the hose and the engine exhaust manifold. Maximize the distance between the hose and the flex pipe. Maximize the distance between the hose and the muffler.

Note: Maximize the distance between the hose and the turbocharger exhaust housing by adjusting the clips.

(3) Place the 6V-1572 Clip in the position that is shown.

(4) Place the 6V-1573 Clip in the position that is shown.

(6) Torque for the two 8T-4908 Bolts ... 15 ± 3 N·m (11 ± 2 lb ft)

(7) After assembly, ensure that the 142-9182 Hose can rotate inside the 142-8833 Spacer (H) when the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler is pivoting.

(8) Torque for the one 8T-4196 Bolt ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)

(9) Torque for the one 8T-5005 Bolt ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)
