Block Diagram for Transmission Electronic Control System |
Note: The 825G is a three-speed machine and the 826G is a two-speed machine.
The transmission electronic control module (ECM) electronically controls the shifting of the transmission. The transmission ECM responds to the requests of the operator by activating the appropriate solenoid valves. The solenoid valves direct oil to the corresponding transmission clutches.
The transmission ECM also operates in an automatic shifting mode. In the automatic mode, the transmission ECM activates the appropriate solenoid valves, depending on the switch settings and the transmission output speed. In addition to the shifting function, the transmission ECM also controls the neutral start function, the ride control function, and the backup alarm function.
