Pulley And Vibration Damper

Usage:

Remove Pulley And Vibration Damper

1. Remove the front pulley guard (if so equipped). Remove the front pulley retaining bolts and retaining plate (1).

2. Install a 5/8" bolt (2) one inch in length in the end of the crankshaft. Install the pulley retaining plate and the two bolts that hold it.

------ WARNING! ------

Install the bolts and plate to keep the pulley and vibration damper on the crankshaft while they are pulled with tooling (A).

--------WARNING!------

3. Install tooling (A) and make a separation of the pulley from the crankshaft.

4. Fasten a hoist to the pulley and vibration damper assembly. Remove the pulley and vibration damper assembly. Weight of the pulley and vibration damper is 70 lb. (32 kg).

Install Pulley And Vibration Damper

1. Put the pulley and vibration damper in position on the crankshaft. Install the pulley retaining plate, lock and retaining bolts (1).

2. Tighten the pulley retaining bolts (1) to a torque of 138 to 159 lb.ft. (187.1 to 215.6 N·m).

3. Install the pulley guard (if so equipped).
