7. Installation

Usage:


Figure 3 Cab Modifications

1. Drill and tap 2 1/4" UNC holes in the rear of the cab (See Figure 3)

2. Install 9EQ5457Wear Plate-Seat (5) with 8 8T1572Screw-Hex Socket (6)

3. Drill 2 holes in KAB52/T4T-SPECSeat (4) as shown (See Figure 4).

4. Install 9EP1821Wear Block (2) using 5P7921 Screws (1) (See Figure 5)

5. Remove belt-retaining loops, remove spacer and discard the spacers. Install belt retaining loops oriented as shown, with loops offset towards the front of seat. (See Figure 5)

6. Install eyebolts supplied with 912134Harness (3) into seat belt mounting boss. (See Figure 6)

7. Use the supplied washers to position eyebolts. (See figure 7). The eyebolts must be aligned with the pullon the straps as in figure 7 to utilise their maximum strength and to reduce the risk of the smap end twisting off in a "roll over". Misalignment by failure to use washers as spacers under the eye bolt head as in figure 7 will result in up to 50% loss of ultimate strength of the eyebolt.

8 Install the snap ends of the 912134Harness (3) to the eyebolts with the open part downward (See Figure 7).

9. Install 3B4613Clevis Pins in the holes provided in the smap end keepers for maximum security

10. Install seat to the cab using previously retained 1T0284Bolts, 6V8189Nuts, and 8T4224Washers.

1. To extend atraps, tilt the adjusters and pull on wevving (See Figure 8)

2. To tighten straps pull on the loose end of the wevving until desired tension is reached.

3. When seated, fasten the harness by inserting the tongue into the buckle until a positive "click" is heard.

4. tighten the Lap straps by pulling the loose ends through the lap adjusters until the buckle is central to the wearer ensuring that the srtap passes over the bony part of the pelvis and the strap is as tight as is comfortably possible.

NOTE: Any springing in the seat will compress if the occupant is bumped downward which will slacken the lap strap.

5. Shoulder adjusters should be positioned on the breast bone approximately 50mm below the collarbone by adjusting the tail adjusters.

6. Tension the shoulder straps firmly, byt not so tight as to pull the lap strap upwards.

7. To release the harness, press the red release button on the buckle.
