NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4912" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use " T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use " Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The existing check valves may leak in the flow priority valve of certain D300D Articulated Trucks. A new valve or cartridge type check valves can be installed.

Follow the procedures in the Service Manual. Replace the existing valve with a new 7U6876 Valve Group.
Group 2
1. Fabricate a tool for removing and installing the retainers. See Illustrations 1 and 2.
2. Remove the two plugs (3), retainers (2), and check valves (1). See the Illustration 3.
3. Install the two new 1027464 Sleeves (4).
4. Install the two new 1027466 Valve Cartridges (5). Tighten the cartridges to a torque of 100 N ·m (75 lb ft).
