6V-7702 O-Ring Seal  Before assembly, lightly lubricate the bore that is being sealed. 
6V-3538 Dowel  Assemble the dowel in the position (2) for counter clockwise engine rotation. 
Assemble the dowel in the position (3) for clockwise engine rotation.
Extension of dowel is 8.00 ± 1.00 mm (0.315 ± 0.039 inch).
Prior to operation, the pump bearings must have an external supply of oil. Before the pump is operated, lubricate the pump with oil. Rotate the pump by hand and make sure that the pump rotates freely. 
Nominal flow with the pump at 1524 rpm is 2200 L/min (581 US gpm)
