A New Valve Guide Is Used on Certain C18 Marine Engines {1100, 1101}
- Marine Engine:
- C18 MARINE (S/N: PLE1-UP; CKH1-UP; JKX1-UP)
Description of Change: The new valve guide has a counterbore in the lower 10 mm (0.40 inch) of the guide. The new guide can also be identified by the groove shown in the illustration below.
Adaptable To: The new 376-6566 Valve Guide replaces the existing valve guides. The new valve guide is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.
Note: The new 376-6566 Valve Guide is also available in both the 381-2577 Cylinder Head As and the 380-9100 Cylinder Head Gp.
