A New Fan Guard Is Now Used on Certain C27 and C32 Engines {1353}

- C27 GEN SET (S/N: DWB1-UP)
- Industrial Engine:
- C27 INDUSTRIAL (S/N: TWM1-UP)
- C32 GEN SET (S/N: SXC1-UP; JSJ1-UP)
Description of Change: A newly designed fan guard is now used on the engines that are listed above. The new fan guard requires a new bolt to fasten the fan guard halves together.
Adaptable To: The 379-0103 Fan Guard is a direct replacement for the 269-8462 Fan Guard. Assemble the two halves of the 379-0103 Fan Guard with the parts listed in Table 1. The bolt torque is 55 ± 10 N·m (41 ± 7 lb ft)
The new 379-0103 Fan Guard is adaptable back to the first production of the listed engines.
