Generator start unit |
The generator start unit option provides a reliable and redundant source of starting power for a generator set. By installing generator start unit, you remove the most common cause of generator starting failures: dead starting batteries. Generator start unit can parallel power from the starting batteries to provide a single and reliable DC power source to the starting motor.
The generator start unit can be wall mounted or floor mounted (standard). In either installation, the module must be fastened securely. Installation details are in this manual. If a support is used, the support must be rated to accept the loads of the generator start unit option.
