There have been a number of isolated instances of issues with 292-9881 Glow Plugs. There have been issues of metallic debris inside the glow plugs, causing the glow plugs to short circuit.

Glow plugs with a date code 4510 (week 45 of 2010) or higher have been manufactured with an improved process.

The part number of the 292-9881 Glow Plugs has not changed.
