- Thickness of one new 8E-8328 Disc ... 4.83 ± 0.08 mm (0.190 ± 0.003 inch)
- Thickness of one new 1T-1897 Plate ... 3.43 ± 0.05 mm (0.135 ± 0.002 inch)

(3) Torque for the ten bolts ... 80 ± 10 N·m (60 ± 5 lb ft)
(4) Clearance across the diameter between the turbine and the housing ... 2.42 ± 0.50 mm (0.095 ± 0.020 inch)
(5) Torque for the 30 bolts ... 120 ± 15 N·m (90 ± 10 lb ft)
Note: Initially tighten two bolts that are 180 degrees away from each other. To be sure that the bolts are tightening evenly, rotate the assembly at 45 ± 12 degrees until there are eight bolts that are tightened. Then tighten all of the bolts. Overlap the starting point in order to be certain that all the bolts are tight.
(6) Impeller clutch
- Total thickness of five new discs and four new plates for the impeller clutch ... 53.35 ± 0.72 mm (2.100 ± 0.028 inch)
- Thickness of one new 6I-8597 Disc ... 5.59 ± 0.08 mm (0.220 ± 0.003 inch)
- Thickness of one new 6Y-7198 Plate ... 6.35 ± 0.08 mm (0.2500 ± 0.0031 inch)
- Thickness of one new 6I-8597 Disc ... 5.59 ± 0.08 mm (0.220 ± 0.003 inch)
(7) Torque for the 16 bolts ... 240 ± 25 N·m (175 ± 20 lb ft)
Note: Initially tighten two bolts that are 180 degrees away from each other. To be sure that the bolts are tightening evenly, rotate the assembly at 45 ± 12 degrees until there are eight bolts that are tightened. Then tighten all of the bolts. Overlap the starting point in order to be certain that all the bolts are tight.
