The rotation of the shaft is clockwise when the pump is viewed from the drive end.

Type: Gear Pump

For the test, use SAE 10W oil that is at 65°C (150.0°F).

(1) Assemble the ring opening over the drain hole.

(2) Assemble the shaft seals so that the retainer springs are opposite each other.

Test at Full Speed:

Pump output ... 84 L/min (22.2 US gpm)

Pump pressure ... 690 kPa (100 psi)

Pump speed ... 1710 rpm

Engine speed ... 1600 rpm

Pump output ... 79 L/min (20.9 US gpm)

Pump pressure ... 6900 kPa (1000 psi)

Pump speed ... 1710 rpm

Engine speed ... 1600 rpm

Test at Half Speed:

Pump output ... 41.5 L/min (10.9 US gpm)

Pump pressure ... 690 kPa (100 psi)

Pump speed ... 855 rpm

Engine speed ... 800 rpm

Pump output ... 35.5 L/min (9.4 US gpm)

Pump pressure ... 6900 kPa (1000 psi)

Pump speed ... 855 rpm

Engine speed ... 800 rpm
