A new AccuGrade pressure sensor is now available. The 261-0420 Pressure Sensor Gp will replace 237-0957 Pressure Sensor Gp. The new AccuGrade pressure sensor has a higher operating pressure than the previous sensor. When you replace the sensor you must also replace 3E-3370 Connector Receptacle As with a new 237-0227 Connector Plug As .

1. Remove the floor mat and the floorplate.

2. Unplug 3E-3370 Connector Receptacle As (7) from 237-0957 Pressure Sensor Gp (4) .

3. Remove 3E-3370 Connector Receptacle As (7). Make a note on the wires of the location of the pins "A", "B", and "C".

4. Cut off 144-1636 Connector Pin on each wire and put a 8T-8730 Connector Socket on each wire.

5. The following assembly should be used for 237-0227 Connector Plug As (2) which replaces 3E-3370 Connector Receptacle As (7) :
   • Pin A to 1 (Orange)

   • Pin B to 2 (Brown)

   • Pin C to 3 (Blue)

6. Remove 237-0957 Pressure Sensor Gp (4), 205-3079 Adapter (5), and 1J-9671 O-Ring Seal from elbow (6) .

7. Assemble 261-0420 Pressure Sensor Gp (1) with 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal. Then connect to elbow (6). Torque 261-0420 Pressure Sensor Gp (1) to 34 ± 6 N·m (25 ± 4 lb ft).

8. Connect 237-0227 Connector Plug As (2) to 261-0420 Pressure Sensor Gp (1) .

9. Flash 287-7580 Power Train Software Gp (3) or the latest version.
