Start By:
- Remove the torque converter. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Coverter - Remove". The information is in this manual.
- Remove bolt (1) and retainer (2) in order to remove yoke (3) and the seal from shaft (4) .

- Remove eight bolts (5) from carrier (6) .

- Use two forcing screws (7) in order to remove carrier (6) from housing (8) .

- Remove lip type seal (9) from carrier (6) .

- Attach Tooling (A), a hoist and an appropriate lifting device to housing (8). Separate housing (8) from the torque converter. The housing weighs approximately 140 kg (310 lb).

- Remove eight bolts (10) in order to remove cover (11) .
