Fuel System - Prime
If the engine does not start, air is trapped in the fuel lines to the engine. Use the following procedure in order to purge air from the fuel lines.
Fuel Priming Pump
- Unlock the priming pump plunger. Operate the plunger until you feel resistance.

- Push in the plunger. Hand tighten the plunger.
- Start the engine. If the engine does not start, or if the engine continues to misfire or smoke, additional priming is necessary.
- Run the engine at the LOW IDLE position until the engine runs smoothly.
