Excavator
349E (S/N: FKF1-UP; MZW1-UP; KFX1-UP)
352F (S/N: KBP1-UP)
Mobile Hydraulic Power Unit
349E MHPU (S/N: S3P1-UP)

Description Of Change: The assembly process for the oil cooler lines group has been improved on certain 349E and 349F Excavators and 349E Mobile Hydraulic Power Units. The new process uses an improved tightening process to ensure that the joint between the check valve group and oil cooler lines group will not leak.

Adaptable To: If you experience leaking at the joint between the check valve group and oil cooler lines group, replace 108-1781 Bolts as needed and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft). Table 1 lists the serial number breaks of the improvements on the assembly line.
