Introduction

This Special Instruction provides information for the installation of the 317-4371 Hook Gp (Flat Back) on the above listed work tools.

1. Inspect the hooks.

(A) 271 mm (10.67 inch) (2) Hook As - LH (3) Hook As - RH

2. Install each hook 271 mm (10.67 inch) from the middle of the frame. Refer to illustration 3.

   Note: The weight of each hook is approximately 73 N·m (54 lb ft).

   Note: There is a left hand and a right hand hook.

3. Secure the hooks with the supplied hardware. The required torque for the U-bolts is 100 ± 20 N·m (74 ± 15 lb ft).
