Engine Stopping
Matikan engine. Untuk menghindari panas berlebih dan keausan yang lebih cepat dari komponen-komponen engine, gunakan petunjuk pada Buku Petunjuk Pengoperasian dan Perawatan, "Mematikan Engine".
Gunakan Tombol Pemberhentian Darurat (bila terpasang) HANYA dalam situasi darurat. Jangan menggunakan Tombol Pemberhentian Darurat untuk mematikan engine secara normal. Setelah melakukan pemberhentian darurat, JANGAN menghidupkan engine sampai permasalahan yang menyebabkan pemberhentian darurat telah diperbaiki.
Pada proses start pertama dari suatu engine yang masih baru atau engine yang telah selesai diservis, lakukan persiapan untuk mematikan engine apabila terjadi kecepatan berlebih. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan mematikan pasokan bahan bakar ke engine atau mematikan sistem pengapian.
