The boom swing pedal is used to swing the boom to the right or to the left. The boom swing pedal is located on the floor on the right side.

Swing Right (1) - Push down on the right side of the boom swing pedal in order to swing the boom to the right.

Swing Left (2) - Push down on the left side of the boom swing pedal in order to swing the boom to the left.

Operate the pedal by raising the cover (3) that is on the pedal.

Unexpected operation of the boom swing control can cause injury or death. To prevent unexpected activation of the boom swing control, always put the cover on the boom swing pedal while traveling or whenever the boom swing control is not being used.

A boom swing stop is provided on the machine in order to minimize potential interference between the work tool and the cab/canopy structure. The boom swing stop is located on the left side of the upper frame swing post. Check the clearances for the work tool in all positions in order to verify a safe working range.

The boom will swing 55 degrees to the left with the boom swing stop on the machine. The boom will swing 90 degrees to the left without the boom swing stop on the machine. The boom will swing 50 degrees to the right.
