(1) Clamp bolts
- Tighten the clamp bolts.
Torque ... 9.5 ± 1.0 N·m (84 ± 9 lb in)
- Gently tap the clamp bolts with a soft faced hammer.
- Tighten the clamp bolts again.
Torque ... 9.5 ± 1.0 N·m (84 ± 9 lb in)
(2) Clamp bolts
- Tighten the clamp bolts.
Torque ... 14.0 ± 1.5 N·m (10 ± 1 lb ft)
- Gently tap the clamp bolts with a soft faced hammer.
- Tighten the clamp bolts again.
Torque ... 14.0 ± 1.5 N·m (10 ± 1 lb ft)
(3) Bolt
-
Put 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the washer face and the bolt threads before assembly.
- Torque ... 54 ± 5 N·m (40 ± 4 lb ft)
