Work Area Vision System (WAVS)

Operation

WAVS is a closed circuit video monitoring system. WAVS consists of a 178 mm (7 in) LCD display and a camera. The display is mounted in the machine cab.

Power is supplied to the system when the operator turns the engine start switch to the ON position. The power On/Off button that is on the display is disabled.

The camera lens and the display screen will require periodic cleaning. Cleaning instructions for the camera lens and the display are described in the Maintenance section.

Automatic Mode

The single camera system is only available with the automatic mode. The single camera system can be placed in "Standby".

Note: If the single camera system can be placed in manual mode, notify service personnel.
