机器的全部四个车轮均采用盘式制动器。 制动器通过油启动。 制动器的摩擦热量通过车桥壳体中的油消散。

心轴 (1) 固定在不转动的车桥壳体 (9) 上。 心轴 (1) 的内部具有凹槽。 板 (3) 外缘上的凸舌与心轴 (1) 内的凹槽相配合。 轮轴 (6) 的外缘上具有花键,与制动盘 (2) 内缘上的花键相配合。 轮轴 (6) 将同时转动制动盘 (2) 和车轮总成 (10)。

操作员接合行车制动器时,压力油从制动器控制阀流入活塞 (4) 后面的腔室 (5) 中。 腔室 (5) 内的油推动活塞 (4) 压紧板 (3) 和制动盘 (2)。 这会造成板 (3) 之间的摩擦。 板被心轴 (1) 固定不动。 制动盘 (2) 随车轮一起转动。 来自制动盘 (2) 的摩擦力使车轮的转速放缓。 当摩擦力足够大时,车轮将停止转动。 制动器接合量由制动踏板的位置决定。

松开制动踏板时,来自腔室 (5) 的油经由制动器控制阀流回油箱。 导管 (7) 和弹簧 (8) 将活塞 (4) 从板 (3) 上拉开。 行车制动器分离时,板 (3) 和制动盘 (2) 间流过的油有助于盘组的分离。

行车制动器可由左制动器踏板或右制动器踏板驱动。 当变速箱空档器超越开关移到解锁位置时,两个制动踏板均可接合行车制动器。 不过,只有左踏板可用来将变速箱挂入空档位置。 当变速箱挂入空档时,空档将使全部发动机动力用于液压系统。

如果机器失去动力或者液压泵故障,行车制动器仍可以接合。 行车制动器充氮蓄能器内的压力允许多次施加制动器踏板。 施加制动旨在停机或使机器速度足够缓慢以接合停车制动器。
