(1) Apply 10 mm (0.39 inch) wide by 5 mm (0.12 inch) thick bead of 257-8023 Thermal Grease to the bottom of the heaters before installing the screed plate.
(2) Apply 185-3996 Thread Lock Compound to the studs prior to installing the nuts.
(3) Apply 257-8023 Thermal Grease to the base of the sensor prior to installation.

(1) Apply Loctite 270 to the threads.
(2) Apply Loctite 270 to the threads.
(3) Tighten 7X-2533 Bolts to the following torque ... 6 ± 1 N·m (4 ± 0.7 lb ft)
(4) Apply Loctite 270 to the threads.
(5) Apply 10 mm (0.39 inch) wide by 5 mm (0.12 inch) thick bead of 257-8023 Thermal Grease to the contact area of the heaters prior installing to the tamper bars.
End Gate

(1) Tighten 8T-4186 Bolts to the following torque ... 5 ± 2 N·m (4 ± 1.5 lb ft)
(2) Apply 10 mm (0.39 inch) wide by 5 mm (0.12 inch) thick bead of 257-8023 Thermal Grease to the contact area of the heaters prior installing to the end gate.
