Description of Change: The route of the hose assemblies and the tube assembly is different. The new route installs two brake accumulator groups on the parking brake circuit and one brake accumulator group on the service brake circuit. Formerly, one brake accumulator group was on the parking brake circuit and two brake accumulator groups were on the service brake circuit.
The new parts will lengthen the cycle time between the charging of the parking brake accumulators. This will improve the service life of the system.
Adaptable To: One new 350-1355 Hose As supersedes the former 302-8501 Hose As in the 299-1066 Brake Accumulator and Mounting Gp .
One new 350-1357 Hose As supersedes the former 302-8500 Hose As in the 299-1066 Brake Accumulator and Mounting Gp .
One new 350-1377 Tube As supersedes the former 299-1076 Tube As in the 299-1066 Brake Accumulator and Mounting Gp .
The new 350-1355 Hose As, the new 350-1357 Hose As and the new 350-1377 Tube As must be added to the 299-1066 Brake Accumulator and Mounting Gp at the same time. When you install the new parts, also install five new 228-7093 O-Ring Seals in the system.
The new parts are adaptable to machines SSP1-121. The new parts became effective in production with the machine SSP122-UP.
