Problem

Reports continue to be received from the field concerning the failure of the 8E-9035 Transmission Ar on 777D Off-Highway Trucks. Commonly, no warranty claim is associated to the report. The reports contain very little information or the reports contain no information. This results in inaccurate data on indicators for quality. The lack of information also inhibits the investigation of the issues.

Solution

All warranty claims and reports should include the part number for the serviceable part or the group that caused the failure.
