New specifications for the assembly of drive plate (2) to torque converter (4) with bolts (1) improve the reliability of the joint. The drive plate is fixed to the end of engine crankshaft (3) .
The new specifications for the assembly of drive plate (2) to torque converter (4) are effective with 725 (S/N: B1L905-UP), 730 (S/N: B1M829-UP), 730 EJECTOR (S/N: B1W217-UP) and 735 (S/N: B1N547-UP). The new specifications are directly adaptable to all earlier machines.
Use the following specifications for the assembly of drive plate (2) to torque converter (4) .
Apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of bolts (1) before installing the bolts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 122.5 ± 2.5 N·m (90 ± 2 lb ft).
