Intended Use

This machine is classified as a backhoe loader as described in ISO 6165:2001. When the machine is used as a loader, this machine is attached with a front mounted bucket or Caterpillar approved work tools. Work tools are used for digging, loading, lifting, and carrying material such as earth, crushed rock or gravel. When the machine is operating as a backhoe, the intended use of this machine is for excavating with a bucket or working with Caterpillar approved work tools. This machine can be used in object handling applications that are within the lift capacity of the machine. When this machine is used in object handling applications use approved lifting points and approved lifting devices.
