Removal Procedure

Start By:
- Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
- Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt link (1). The weight of tilt link (1) is approximately 143 kg (315 lb).

- Remove nut (2), the washer and the bolt.
- Remove three plugs (3) .

- Install Tooling (A). Tighten Tooling (A) evenly to remove collet (4) .

- Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 for the collet on the other side.
- Attach a suitable lifting device to pin (5). The weight of pin (5) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).

- Remove pin (5) .
- Remove shims (6) .

- Lower tilt link (1) to the ground.
- Attach a suitable lifting device to bucket (7). The weight of bucket (7) is approximately 5152 kg (11360 lb).

- Remove bolt (8), the nut and washer from the bucket pin assembly.

- Remove three plugs (9) .
- Install Tooling (A). Tighten Tooling (A) evenly to remove collet (10) .

- Repeat Step 11 through Step 13 for the collet on the other side.
- Use two people to remove pin (11). The weight of pin (11) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb).

- Remove shims (12) .
- Repeat Step 11 through Step 16 for the bucket pin assembly on the other side.
- Remove bucket (7) .
