Gear Pump (Brake, Differential Flushing)

Flushing pump (1) is located on the left side of the engine compartment. The engine compartment cover provides access to this component.
The flushing pump is a gear pump which is driven by the auxiliary pad of the engine. The flushing pump draws oil from the hydraulic tank through the bottom port on the pump. The top port of the flushing pump provides oil in order to flush the housing of each parking brake and each final drive.
